Welcome to The Wild and Precious!

This blog emerged during a time of deep retreat. As a single working mother of two delightful lion cubs (my sons!) and an immigrant in a country where I have no biological family, my journey has been rewarding, exciting, beautiful, sometimes painful or just plain exhausting, and … above all … an opportunity for tremendous personal transformation.

These are my stories and learnings … reflections on my pilgrimage through life. From my childhood and adult years in Southern Africa, many adventures around the planet, several enriching relationships, rewarding careers, and the birth of my two lion cubs … to our present life in Canada.

On these pages I’ll tell stories about our favourite places, the gems of wisdom I’ve gained, modalities and tools that have turned my circumtances of challenge and change into precious opportunities for growth , as well as the environmental and humanitarian causes that I am passionate about.

This is a celebration of my deepening relationship with Mother Earth and all sentient beings who have crossed my path, to love and guide me.
